Nose: The first nose is marked by an intense woody aroma with notes of toasted bread, perfectly integrating the smoky notes of peat. Sweet spices and marmalade gradually reveal themselves, as well as gourmet notes of sour cherry, cocoa and vanilla.
Palate: A very round attack, probably due to the influence of rum and its aromas of butterscotch caramel and candied citrus fruits. The mouth follows on an impressive density, a concentration of cocoa and macerated fruits, enhanced by camphor and a subtle floral note.
Finish: The smoke now tends towards ashy notes, while retaining a certain sweetness that lingers through gourmet pastry, spices and a hint of vanilla.
