Taiko Nakamura

Destilleriet Shizuoka ligger 45 minuters bilväg från staden Shizuoka i prefekturen med samma namn.
I september 2016 drog grundaren Taiko Nakamura igång sitt snygga arkitektritade destilleri i inlandet när floden Nakaouchi. En av mäskpannorna som används är plockad från ikoniska, sorgligt nedlagda, Karuizawa. Den andra är världens första vedeldade whiskypanna(!). Några washbacks är tillverkade av japanskt cederträ; en annan unik detalj i destilleriet.

Smyghöjning
Den första april sänks momsen på de flesta livsmedlen. Öl, vin och sprit är livsmedel men kommer inte att sänkas. I stället kommer Systembolaget att höja sina marginaler en aning. Så från 1 mars kommer nästan alla varor att öka i pris på Systembolaget.
