Nose: Viridescent notes of cut grass and hay bales contrast against sharper aromas of crab apples, lime and green grapes. There are also some characteristics coming from the cask such as balsa wood, coconut and mild spices.
Palate: Three waves of flavours appear on the palate. Firstly an effervescent tart citrus note like lime sherbet. Secondly white pepper and ginger followed by mellow notes of butterscotch. Each overlaps creating a triptych of flavours to be enjoyed.
Finish: The finish is short, slightly pithy and waxy.
